I just got back from a quick trip up to Alaska this week. As you can see, it snowed a few weeks early this year and it almost felt like Christmas.
I went from my brothers wedding where they got married in a beautiful log lodge. Then the next day the crazy storm hit. By the way, we were up in Palin country and you really can see Russia from there!!! he he he

How fun to be in the snow for only a little while--then you can enjoy it without hating it, right? And how cool to be able to make it to your brother's wedding, too! I bet it was amazing.
It is pretty amazing to be that far north, in the snow and then within hours be this far south and basking int he heat. What a deal! My little brother comes this week from Alaska. He is going to bake.
Alaska is beautiful isn't it? I agree with you though, they can keep their snow! :)
How fun... Alaska is one of the places on our dream sheet... not sure if we'll end up there or not. We should find out here in a few weeks! :-)
